Northborough Southborough Softball

The Northborough Southborough Softball Program is dedicated to creating a positive sporting and social environment where the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty and fair play are core, with secondary importance placed on winning. Our goal is for each player to have fun while gaining a rewarding softball experience and developing skills in fast-pitch softball. In 2012 NBSA decided to join with Southborough Softball in mixing teams together at all levels. We have developed this strategy to have the girls join together and play at a younger age because they will inevitably be playing together at Algonquin Regional High School.

The Northborough/Southborough Softball Program will be opening 2016 Spring Softball registration on October 1, 2015 through February 1, 2016 to all girls in Kindergarten through 9th
 Grade inclusive.

Currently, Northborough Southborough Girls Softball fields teams in each of the following age groups:

6u Division is for girls born between Jan 2009 to Dec 2011

8u Division is for girls born between Jan 2007 to Dec 2008

10u Division is for girls born between Jan 2005 to Dec 2006

12u Division is for girls born between Jan 2003 to Dec 2004

16u Division is for girls born between Jan 2000 to Dec 2002

The spring season begins in late April and runs through late June including playoffs.  The game schedule is coordinated in order to avoid conflicts with spring soccer, dance recitals, and Girl Scout town events.  A minimum of 12 games is scheduled for 10u and 12u teams, and 14 games are scheduled for the 16u league (not including playoffs.)

It is VERY important to register on time to determine appropriate number of teams, divisions and game schedules.
